Day 5 -- A special thanks...

It is not everyday you project yourself on to a community and have them respond with open arms and welcome you as one of their own. I would like to thank the Mayor, Pat Raffety, School Superintendent Tim Graf, Jerry and Mary Lynn Fields, and Laura Kelly for the phenomenal welcome today and the time they spent showing me around. I was able to see the following sites today:

• The Grist Mill
• The Milbank High School (Go Bulldogs)
• Legion Baseball Field
• Unity Square
• Valley Queen Cheese Factory
• The Milbank Area Hospital
• Lake Farley Park
• Milbank area Chamber of Commerce

All of these sites exemplify a community who cares about itself and its pride. I will be posting pictures of my adventures in Milbank tomorrow.

Finally a special thanks to the medical staff on duty at the Milbank Area Hospital for letting us take a look around at the magnificent facility and city would be proud to have in their community. Here are some shots of the hospital and the great staff who were on duty.
